ABOUT US

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to feed our hungry neighbors with dignity and respect, at a time when public funding is eroding and one in five New Yorkers needs help with basics like food.

OUR STORY

Serving lunch from the heart, every friday for over 45 Years!

Friday Soup Kitchen exists because we believe it’s our responsibility to help our neighbors who just don’t get enough to eat. So, every Friday, 52 weeks a year, a dedicated community of volunteers come together to prepare and serve a hot, nutritious lunch to over 250 guests.

All who come to us are welcome to a hot, nutritious meal

HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED

VOLUNTEER

Our Volunteers are the very heart of Friday Soup Kitchen. They prepare the food, set up the dining room, serve food and wait on tables, and clean up afterwards. They interact with our guests, developing relationships and fostering a true sense of community.

DONATE

Your donations are the very life blood of Friday Soup Kitchen. We are privately funded and receive no money from local, state or federal government. Every dollar received is used to feed our guests. We need your help to continue.
